Shade and water
Las Cruces Dog Parkthis was a great stop on our road trip from TX to PX. no grass but lots of shade and water. dogs had a great time running around and playing in the kiddo pool of water. some grass would have been nice, but overall a great place to stop.
Lots of shade!

Great spot to stop on road trip
Ivan's SpotGreat spot. Lots of area for them to run. No grass. Big and small dog sections.
Beautiful Dog Park
James Rooney Memorial ParkThis is a beautiful dog park with shade, lots of grass, clean water, and tables to sit at. This is one of our favorite spots to stop on our yearly road trip. Highly recommend!
Super hot if stoping in summer
Argal ParkWe were looking for a travel stop for our dogs and picked this park. The dog section is far from the parking lot and has no shade. Nice grassy area, however don’t recommend if summer time. Fall or spring would be great. Just FYI if looking for a spot when it’s hot.
If your in a pinch
Dog Park at Wildwood Parkif you need a place to stop with the pups it will do, but kind of dirty and not clean water. no bags. ran into some unfriendly dogs as well.

Fantastic tour
Bad Wolf Ghost ToursLaura was a fabulous tour guide. she made the history and the ghost/paranormal stories come to life. Perfect way to experience downtown San Antonio and the Alamo at night. great way to get the dogs out as well.
