Modest but comfortable
Schenectady Inn & SuitesBasically a no frills budget motel. Kind of old but very clean and comfortable. I read some rather harsh criticisms. If you're looking to lounge around in a terry cloth robe and have breakfast and fresh coffee delivered to your ro0m forget about it. However if you're looking for a fair price and comfortable stay without the luxury this is a good option. Three desk clerks were very helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay here again.

Holiday Inn Saratoga Springs an IHG HotelChomper really enjoys his bookings at the Holiday Inn where he is wined and dined by the housekeeping staff with treats and petting. I am privileged that he saw fit to bring me along as a reward for my good behavior.

Residence Inn Albany Washington AvenueExcellent accommodations. Staff were very accommodating; professional, and good-natured. Location was a little hard to find but well worth the effort.
