We stopped here because everyone said it was dog friendly. it was great. People were very nice and we took the 20 min history tour which was interesting and gave my pup a walk. Definitely a perfect stop!

I chose this one because of its location. You do have to go inside to order but a local outside kept Freckles while I ordered. I don’t think the place would care if he’d come in honestly. it was very laid back. I asked for a food recommendation and had the Turkey sandwich and it was spectacular. they did bring my food to my table on the patio. very dog friendly and very good.

I ventured here after eating shrimp and grits too often and the festival. A local told me to get the burger here and it was the best burger I’ve ever had. Their homemade blue cheese dressing was so good. Sat on the patio with my pup and enjoyed the experience!

I had been staying at a more expensive property on the island and decided to stay an extra night on the island and stay here. Such a great choice. Very dog friendly. Placards for the doors, rooms that open to the ocean. Amazing views. Great beach. Great rooms.

Gorgeous new property being poorly managed. There was a 1” dead roach outside our room door all 4 days we were here and even when we pointed out to housekeeping they didn’t clean it up. The toilet was broken for 12 hours and staff wouldn’t do anything about it. The second floor ocean views are just of palm tree tops. The fire alarm went off 5 times at 4am on our last day there. All in all it is a dog friendly property and beautiful but very disappointing for the price you’ll pay. Dog fee is high too.

We actually stayed here both on the way to Georgia and on the way home. This was my first time in a La Quinta. Very nice to my pup, staff was all very friendly. I travel alone with my dog as a single female and felt very safe. Good parking. Easy dog area and well lit. I really felt like staff was watching out for everyone. Met nice people everywhere there. Lots of animals traveling.

Freckles loves getting to stretch his legs in the dog park and it made my life easier.

5+ bones! They sat us at the front booth. The manager brought my pup water and a strip of bacon. The food was amazing and we met so many nice people.
