Welcoming, clean, and homey
Oregon Trail InnVery kind and caring owners/managers. Clean sheets, ample hot water. A little street noise but not obtrusive. An older facility well kept. Grass and baggies for fido.
Very nice, very clean, friendly staff
La Quinta by Wyndham Orem University Pwy ProvoProbably the nicest La Quinta we’ve ever stayed in. Grassy areas beside/behind the hotel for dog business, poop station with bags there, and the area was CLEAN! No piles of dog poop just sitting there. Our only complaint was no breakfast due to their COVID response. Mask compliance was good.
Better than we expected
La Quinta by Wyndham Las Vegas Airport SouthA nice La Quinta. Great staff. Everything seemed clean. There was a disinfectant smell to the room that was only noticeable on initial entry. Windows are fixed and ac doesn’t have a ‘vent’ option. Pool and gym very nice. *Everyone* had one or more dogs. Not everyone was smart enough to clean up, so there were many dog droppings all around outside. No problem inside or close to the building.
Typical beach hotel with wear and tear of spring break crowds
Studio 6 Suites Lake Havasu City AZNo complaints, very much what we expected. We found it to be dog-friendly. Bed was good, bath was adequate--plenty of pressure & got water. Room seemed clean enough. Lots of renovation underway on lower floors. Our third floor lake view had a nice balcony but no balcony furniture. Dog areas are gravel or Arizona-dead grass and dirt. Staff was typical small-town rural US and seemed overworked and minimal with Covid as an excuse. In-room coffee but no breakfast, again because of Covid. Masking required per plentiful postings but we saw no one on staff masked so as to cover nose and mouth. We are fully immunized so that didn't bother us. Summary: budget hotel, pets allowed, book with modest expectations.
Didn’t work for us.
IHOPWaited 30 minutes at the hostess desk to be acknowledged only to be told their patio seating is closed. in fact, we are yet to find a restaurant (except In n Out) in Lake Havasu City that allows our small dog despite BringFido and Yelp indicating so. it is strange. The hotels here are dog friendly as are the parks. if you depended on the restaurants you’d starve.
