The staff was friendly but the facility is decrepit. The first floor hallway smells of mold and laundry, the source of which is a battered washer/dryer at the end wall. Wallpaper peels, room carpet is tattered, and even the one ice machine on the second floor is missing parts. Surrounded by newer, brighter hotels, this La Quinta should either renovate top to bottom (its clean, tiled sister hotel in Indianapolis is a great model) or close.

This hotel was a treat. With tile floors in hallways and rooms, the musty odor often found in dog-friendly hotels was absent. Great location, just off I-70 and in an industrial complex with lots of dining and other hotel options. Plenty of greens and sidewalks for dog strolls. Highly recommend.
