Stopped with my dog after a hike and the bartender was nice enough to open the patio for us. Penny had the whole fenced in patio to herself and we got some great food and beer. They brought out a mat for her and a huge pitcher of ice water. I stayed 3 nights in Fayetteville and this was the most dog friendly place we ate at. Highly recommended by me and 4 paws up from Penny! đž

Stopped in with my dog for lunch. Bartender/waitress said she hadnât opened the patio yet because it was raining earlier in the day but said she would open it so we could have lunch. Told her only if it wasnât a problem, that we could go someplace else. She insisted it was fine and directed us around the back to the patio. We sat there over 20 minutes and no one came out to take our order so we left. Maybe we caught them on an off day but was disappointed that she insisted we could get served but were apparently forgotten about. I see that others had better experiences. Hope this was a one-off.

The room location was fantastic. Right next to the side door on the first floor. Unfortunately because I had a dog, I was stuck with a smoking room. Would have liked a coffee pot in the room too. Overall, it was fine for one night and the price was great!

If youâre in New Bern and have your pup, stop here for a meal. They have a dog menu for your pup. We loved it! Everyone was so accommodating!

Had a great lunch with my pup here. They have a dog menu that has burger or grilled chicken. Penny loved it! They were very accommodating and even took pics for us to buy if we wanted.

The room was really nice and spacious. Front desk staff were fantastic! My only negative was that we were on the second floor so it wasnât as easy as Iâd hoped to get dog in and out.
Molly and I love it here! She can run free, chase critters, and swim all day during the warmer months. I can detach from the stresses of a normal workday, catch up on some reading, and get reenergized. Mindy and Ian are fantastic and have created a doggy wonderland! I just finished my 4th visit in the last year and every trip was fantastic! We rented the Northstar Lodge for the first time! So much fun snowshoeing and exploring the trails! If you want a winter getaway, bring your snowshoes, x country skis, sled, and your fur baby! You wonât regret it!
