Visited with a friend and her Chorkie, Lily, and spent a wonderful afternoon tasting wine, enjoying a delicious late lunch, relaxing on the patio with the view of Lake Geneva and visiting with staff and other patrons. What a great day!!

A friend and I are staying with her Chorkie and understood before we booked that we couldn't leave the pup in the room alone. We've taken Lily the dog with us to Zugibe Vineyards - super dog friendly - as well as a local pub. The staff and other patrons at the Microtel have been very friendly and nice to Lily. The hotel is just a very short walk to a little park and walking trail along the waterway. Enjoyed that too.

Hotel was accepting dogs, but had no information on local restaurants. We even stopped at a Petco and none of the employees knew of a restaurant. We ended up buying to go and ate in our room. There was no place on the outside of the motel to sit. This area does not seem at all dog friendly.
