Let the hordes follow the sign post to the Herman Gulch Trail while you take the stunning, much less heavily traveled Watrous Gulch Trail. A bit strenuous in parts but very doable. Don't let the sounds of I-70 dissuade you at the start. They (and your daily worries) soon disappear as you enter nature's wonderland.
