Dolce is a rescue. She and mom go on a doggy summer adventure once a year. This summer (2020), we are going to tour some covered bridges in Oregon and check out some dog friendly breweries and wineries while mom checks out possible places to retire. We will post our favorite spots every day.

Great beer. Dolce got a bowl of water and a treat. Blueberry ale is fantastic. Fun menu! Plenty of outdoor seating.

A quiet Break

We took a quiet break from travels at this tasting room in Dundee. They greeted Dolce with a treat and brought a huge bowl of water. Definately a place to stop in wine country.

Several nice tables outside where dogs can be. Premade sandwiches are available along with other items. Wine also available.

Dinner with the Pup

A few out door tables right on the sidewalk. Good service. Food was good, margaritas are small.

This Winery is in Oregon

A cute winery with ample space outside where your 4 legged buddy can join you. Dolce enjoyed rolling in the grass while I sipped some delicious wine.

Lunch with the pup

Was visiting town and decided to try this location. Great burger and beer on the lovely outdoor patio and they brought Dolce water in a pink dog bowl to boot.

A Great Adventure

Start in Cottage Grove and complete a loop that takes you over 5 to 6 covered bridges. Some of which you can drive through.

Best Winery Ever

I had arranged a tasting by appointment and was excited to visit this beautiful winery that I had heard was dog friendly. Not only were the wines amazing, the entrance to the winery was beautiful. We were greeted by one of the winery dogs, Abby, who hit it off with my little companion. Dolce loved walking by the pond and sleeping in the shade with her new friend. Since I was going to be traveling, our hostess (the owner's daughter) went out of her way to pack my purchases in ice. Definately stop here if traveling through the Willamette Valley in Oregon.

In Historic Cottage Grove

This was a welcoming place for my little four legged friend. There are a few tables outside in front. We were there for lunch during Covid, so it wasn't too busy. Had a very nice Cajun chicken salad. They have some fun dressings to choose from and the sandwiches look good. It is right on the main street, so might be noisy outside during regular season.

Good Ale

Great ale and lunch. Outside seating in industrial area. Nothing to write home about in regards to dog friendly. Workers did not seem very happy.
