Dog-gone great location in a doggy town
Inn on Main AnnapolisI've been going to Chick & Ruth's Deli below the Scotlaur Inn since I was a midshipman in the 80's but never stayed at the Inn above until I needed a place to bring my papillion, Molly. The rooms have been very recently renovated (maybe this winter)- no more carpet, flower wallpaper, or drapes. It's now modern laminate floors and light gray paint on the walls. Rooms are small, think very European. Really no more that a place to sleep at night, but the location is in the middle of main street in the heart of downtown Annapolis so you can't get any closer to things. Staff is very good, but busy especially on weekends. This is not a good place if you or your dog have any mobility issues or a lot of heavy luggage. There is no elevator and the flights of stairs are narrow and steep. Annapolis is a very doggy town & your dog is welcome almost everywhere. Very much enjoyed our stay and breakfast was awesome!
