The staff was very friendly, room was clean and comfortable. Great hotel amenities and delicious breakfast. The pet relief area was extremely small and even though they were welcoming of my dogs, the hotel had a lot of restrictions. Basically they were only allowed in the rooms.

I went during a weekday and had to wait several minutes before a staff member appeared. There were already a few people inside enjoying their wine so I knew they were open. They had automatic wine dispensers that provided the perfect pour based on what you purchased. I like to hear about the wine making process and with no pourer it lacked the intimacy. There was a sheet that explained the wine but I prefer hearing about it and being able to discuss it with an actual person. Nevertheless the wine was good and the two staff members I did see were friendly. No outside food is allowed and there are limited options of snacks to munch on so don't go hungry. It is a a very pretty area and I would probably go again.

Took my dogs on a weekday morning so it was pretty empty. I was able to get cute pics of them by the falls and on the trail. The hike can be very rocky so I recommend good hiking boots.

Also bring $3 for the park fee.
