Convenient, nice, and dog-friendly
Holiday Inn Asheville Biltmore an IHG HotelIt was very convenient next to I-40, since we were traveling from the midwest to the southern US. The lobby was large, with an indoor pool. The folks were very polite and friendly. They had a dog-walking area. In the evening there was a small bar and grill on-site. In the morning they offered a breakfast buffet, but it was not included in our room rate (make sure you check on that when booking if you want it).
Perfect for travel with our dog
Holiday Inn Express Knoxville-Strawberry Plains an IHG HotelWe usually stop for the night at Asheville or Knoxville when traveling to see our daughter. This place was very clean, and did not give our dog a second look when we walked through the lobby a few times. Breakfast was included, but thanks to covid was wrapped or packaged items. The only downside (if you want to call it that) for us was that we were on the third floor, and our dog is not fond of elevators. There was lots of grassy area around the back of the parking lot and hotel.
Very dog-friendly room location
Crowne Plaza Resort Asheville an IHG HotelOur room opened out (using sliding patio doors) onto a very large grassy area, that even had a poo-bag dispenser. The room had clearly been recently remodeled and looked very nice. We would stay again.
