New Favorite
Staypineapple, Hotel Z, Gaslamp San DiegoI’ve never been the type to have a favorite brand of hotel, but I might have to make an exception. This hotel is super cute, clean, and accommodating. They have dog decorations all over the place, free dog treats, included our dog names next to them as a cute welcome, and they gave us free portable dog bowls with poop bags + carrier! The staff are all super, super nice. They greet you with pineapple shaped sugar cookies and they give you $10 credit per day per room from the vending machine that has snacks and drinks. The beds are super comfy and the rooms super clean / good sizes. There’s free street parking in the same street as long as it’s not street cleaning day or $20 a day parking garage on the same block. Tons of restaurants and bars in the area and it’s in the gas lamp district which is already in itself an attraction. There’s also a cvs right next to it for all your daily needs. Not to mention the building itself is super cute I often caught people taking pics infront of it for the gram. 10/10! Hands down no competition.

Can’t beat this hotel!
Axiom HotelOmg the best service! Super nice staff. Helpful with recommendations and making your stay easier. I haven’t had service like this in a long time. They brought us dog beds and bowls as well as a door sign to signal that we have a dog. Clean rooms + facility as well as artsy/Instagrammable decor. It’s located right in union square right next to a Sephora/urban outfitters/Burger King and across the street from a mall. They have a gym that you can book ahead of time with 1 hour time slots good for each family. They have an hour time slot in between sessions for cleaning. They unfortunately don’t have breakfast right now because of covid, but you’re right next to tons of food places. Parking is available but only valet. We parked two blocks up for $39/day with in and out privileges. Last but def not least they have a robot!! Just call 0 ask whatever you want and the robot calls you on your hotel phone that he’s outside with the items. Super cute. Highly recommend!
