The room was clean and well appointed and the staff was friendly. My concern is that I made the reservation directly by phone with the Best Western Plains and informed them that we had 2 dogs. We had read the pet policy on the Best Western website and it was pretty generic saying that they allowed big dogs. Nothing was said on the website or over the phone about breed restrictions, and we were told once we reserved the room it was non-refundable. When I arrived to check-in, I was given a sheet with a pretty extensive breed restriction list, which included shepherds and huskies and some other pretty common dogs. I just want to alert folks that they need to be careful that their dog will be allowed here.

we rented a boat for the day and the experience from booking to return was seamless. the staff was friendly and helpful at every turn. our 60 pound dog was welcomed.

we brought our 60 pounder. if we did it again, we would leave more time for the loading as she was scared at first. she did settle down and we appreciated being able to bring her along.
