Fantastic food!

Great spot for you and your dog! The BBQ here is fantastic. We finally brought our dog the last time we were here and had a great experience. Patio area is covered, but can get crowded a times.

Local Favorite

This is one of our favorite places to not only take our dog, but to get BBQ as well. Very much a hole in the wall kind of place, but the food is great and the patio is a large space with plenty of spots not directly in the sun. At night times it can busy due to live music, so keep that in mind when going. Waiters and staff are very friendly and love pups. Overall we love this place and come here often with our pup!

AMAZING VIEWS!

I absolutely loved this trail! It was a perfect hour morning hike to do with my pup. The views from the minute you get onto the Blue Ridge Parkway to end of the trail are spectacular. Our pup had such a great time on this trail.

Edwin Warner Park Trails

This past weekend we took our pup to the trails at Edwin Warner Park and completed the Harpeth Woods Trial. This trail is a 2.5 mile dirt trail loop that takes you through the woods with some slight inclines and declines. It was perfect for a morning hike and we loved the dog friendliness of the park overall. There is even a picnic area about 1 mile in if your wanting to bring along a few sandwiches and relax. I would highly recommend this park!

Great Scenery, Not Suited For Dogs

As previously stated by others, this trail is not great for dog owners. Dogs are limited to the highly-trafficked paved trail that circles the lake. The scenery is nice, but overall I would take my dog to a more dog-friendly area.

Great Location, Not My Favorite Though

If you live in the West End area of Nashville, it is in a convenient location to take your dog for some off-leash and socialization time. However, the park is on an incline and gets extremely muddy after rainfall due to the large amount of dirt.

Great Wooded Nature Trail

We have taken our pup on this trail twice now and love it! Finding the trail can be tricky, but if you make your way along the paved path to the creek and cross over you'll see the entrance. The trail is shaded the whole way making it great spot even on a hot summer day. Our pup does not like water, but if your's does you have access to the creek as well! Highly recommend.
