Dog Friendly staff
Union Brothers BrewingFirecracker brisket sandwich was delicious. Smoky flavor to the meat & great sauce to accompany. Cram lump fritter appetizers were fabulous! Good dipping sauce as well. Nachos were bigger than expected. I’m not usually a fan of beer cheese but this house made one was surprisingly good. The beers themselves were nice and cold. Today there were 12 on tap. A couple of sours, IPAs, & a lager, cider, & stout. Good variety. Prices were reasonable. The place gets busy for a Sunday lunch! Looking forward to coming back & bringing the dog to the outside seating area!
Friendly staff!
Mastic Trail Brewery“Island time!”… nice way to set sail during a time when travel is so questionable. Loved having this little get-a-way! Flights were at about $2 each & the selection was varied. Cocktail drinks were very nicely loaded. Drinks were obviously made from scratch & not your typical chain restaurant pre-bottled stuff. Service was very attentive. Tostones starter was hot, fresh, crispy. Ordered jerk chicken & Cuban sandwich as entrees. The chicken was not as spicy as anticipated but it was very aromatic & was served with sautéed spinach & rice w/beans. The sandwich is one of the best we’ve had in the area. Flavorful with all the right meats and fresh bread. The sweet potato fries! So crispy on the outside and a delightful mush on the inside. So surprised at how much we liked them as we don’t usually order this. The place itself doesn’t look like much from the street. But it has a nice outside sitting area that’s also dog friendly. Indoors there is plenty of seating in the general music/football watching area with full bar service. But there’s also an additional room in the back that includes another full bar along with arcade machines, darts, pool tables, etc. Truly delighted by this curious out of the way place & its uniqueness in the Pittsburgh area.
