So the room we were assigned had a backed-up toilet. I don’t know how the housekeeping staff didn’t notice it, but we didn’t notice until around 9:15pm when we were getting ready for bed. We went down to the desk to see what could be done and it was decided that a plunger would be brought up to see if that could solve the problem. An hour later, the plunger was tried, to no avail. So it was decided that we would move rooms, if possible on the same floor. A half hour later we walked into our new room. It became apparent that the room had been heavily smoked in and hastily cleaned. We turned on the fan setting to hopefully dissipate the smells but it was pretty bad. We left almost as soon as we woke up.

Lots of dog-walking areas. Solid hot breakfast options. Room was quiet. Building needs a little TLC. Very convenient to the folks we were visiting.

This hotel is really nice and everybody was sweet to our Gordie. We would absolutely stay here again, even without a dog. There were LOTS of other dogs too!

Comfortable, hot breakfast bar.

The hotel was great, very nice amenities, full bar and restaurant, even live music on the patio! Staff were helpful. HOWEVER, pet rooms are a small block on the 2nd floor that face the indoor pool and arcade area. The problem with this is the security lights in the arcade/pool area - bring an eyemask to wear at night just in case! The blackout curtains blocked some of the light, but our room was illuminated from the edges enough to walk around and see furniture clearly.

We needed a dog-friendly hotel in Red Wing and it did that. The AC was really loud but otherwise the room was fine.

Our stay was wonderful! Gordon loved the big couch, especially when his bed was placed on it. The staff were very sweet and helpful.

The suite was good, location was convenient for our needs, and the pond and large grassy area were great for our dog!

Very basic but we just needed one night on the road, so it checked a lot of boxes!

Good hot breakfast, friendly staff.

This hotel is old and very loud, but it worked just fine.

By far, THE nicest LQ we’ve ever stayed at! It’s a relatively new, well-appointed hotel with a super-friendly desk clerk and terrific breakfast.

The paved path around the hotel was really nice. The hotel is lovely, good amenities. Note: interior courtyard rooms are VERY loud - we were awakened by somebody else's dog barking in the lobby and somebody moving furniture in the lobby (at least that's what it sounded like). We mentioned that and the desk clerk said one can request exterior-facing rooms, which are quieter.

Everything was perfect! Comfy bed, great amenities.

The pet policy is very nice, the location was fine - Rochester is a small city and we weren’t there for Mayo. (If one is going to Mayo, stay closer!). This Motel 6 had a fridge and microwave in the room (👍🏻), but the actual building needs major work. The towels were small and a little dingy, but overall it was fine for one night en route to our destination.

Dog-friendly, in the right part of KC, easy access to I-35. Other guests were loud and obnoxious at 1am and the room felt a little dirty, towels were dingy and small. Budget motel that allows dogs though.

Great service, great room, super comfy bed. Location was in the midst of a concrete jungle but we found some grassy areas for the dogs.

Not the nicest hotel, but when traveling with 2 40-lb mutts, sometimes we can’t be picky! Econo Lodge was accommodating and convenient, just felt sort of old and a little run-down. Luverne is a lovely town.

There is a lovely little park (full of rabbits - joy) behind the hotel that was perfect for relieving the pups. Hotel staff were kind and professional. We would absolutely stay here again.

No hassle with the 2 medium dogs. Room was fine.
