Coastal Cruisin

This is a fabulous activity for families with doggies that both love to ride and love the beach. Leased a Nissan Titan truck from Bret and we had a blast. Spotted four horses and had a nice lunch on the beach. My big red Golden Retriever was ecstatic as we cruised along the beach and finally stopped for some time for toes in the sand.

Excellent dining venue for fur babies

Shipwrecks Taphouse & Grill

We were among the early birds with an arrival at 5pm. The hostess seemed a bit rattled although they were not busy. I located a waitress and asked her if we could just grab a table in the covered area outdoors. She said sure. She was right on it. Immediately they had a fresh bowl of water for our 100lb red golden retriever and our menus. The waitress was great. Very knowledgeable, friendly and courteous. We had other staff come out and visit with our boy. He relished the attention as always. But, when they brought out his chicken and carrots on the Frisbee he was SOLD!!! I had the Cajun Seafood Bake and it was wonderful. The sweet cornbread was also a great item. I suggested they place a side of cornbread as an item with the Seafood Bake to sop the sauce and charge an extra $3 on the menu. Will be anxious to see if they give it a whirl.
Great dining option if you have canine family members around Kitty Hawk.
