We have been here a few times. Yes you have to stay on the deck and it is self serve for food and drinks BUT they bring water and treats to your dog! It’s a lovely way to have a a bite to eat on the water.

We were visiting Princeton with our dog and looking for a place for lunch. We asked if pups were welcome and they said of course! Our server even brought him a bowl of water. Great location, friendly staff and delicious food.
