My pup loved it!

We were visiting family while in the area. I found Hendrick House and I’m so very happy I did.
Our 3 year old Labrador had her own vacation and played with new friends while we visited.
The facility is very clean and Stacy offers tours so you can see where your dog will be.
There is inside kennels with doggie doors to access outside area. Then a huge shaded play yard where the dogs can mingle and socialize.
Stacy sent pictures to keep me updated on our pups activities. When we picked her up in the afternoon she was so tired. (Awesome) she slept so good when we got her home.
Definitely would recommend Hendrick House!

Dog friendly stores

We went to magnolia market with our 3 year old very social Labrador retriever. All the stores were very welcoming of her and she got lots of attention. There is a large area that is artificial turf and they ask that you not walk your dog on the turf. This really wasn’t an issue for us. I walked her prior to entering the market and knew she was fine. I would hope that they would add a pet store and bakery. It would be a perfect addition to their awesome shopping experience .
I didn’t see any water bowls out on our visit but I typically carry my own anyway.
There were plenty of places to sit with our dog that wasn’t on the turf.
We all enjoyed our time at magnolia market.

Great park

We were visiting the area and decided to check out this park.
It’s less than a mile off interstate 95 and easy to find.
We were there about 9:30 in the morning and only one dog, but by 10:00 the regular dogs started coming in.
The park is huge and has lots of shade and sunny spots too
Places to sit and several poop bag poles around.
A couple of water spigots and bowls for water also.
We have a Labrador so beware they do have a kiddy pool full of water. Our yellow lab quickly turned to a black lab after swimming in the pool.😂
All people and dogs were friendly and our girl got some exercise, which is what we we hoping for.
Would definitely come again… but glad we bring towels when we go!

Loved the store

We took our Labrador into the Rustic Pup, thinking we might buy her some treats. I loved the store and the two ladies inside running it. They have some unique items as well as your standard doggy treats and toys.
We did buy some treats and while I was checking out I noticed a harness that I had actually been look at on line. I asked about it and the lady (wish I had gotten her name!) helped me size her, put it on her, and let me take her for a walk in it to see if we liked it!
She was so awesome.
We all certainly enjoyed the store and the help!

Nice park!

The park was very nice . Nice size and lots of area to run. Water faucet to fill water bowls. And poop bad stations around.
Picnic tables for parents to sit at while there. Some nice trees and a shade tarp over one area also.
Lots of good parking. A small and large dog park. Definitely recommend!

Great spot for lunch!

Great outside seating for us and our dog. We had a shrimp po boy and the flounder po boy. They were yummy, and we enjoyed sitting outside .
Services was good. The view was nice. The menu had a variety for lunch and the items we saw pass by looked good as well.
Our pup got a milk bone too 😊

Great stop over

This was a great stay. After reading reviews of our options in the area, I chose here because of the good reviews. We were not disappointed!
Easy off the interstate. Very clean outside as well as inside. We had plenty of area to walk our car cooped up Labrador which was nice. They even have poop bags.
The beds were comfortable and everything was clean.
I know it’s a small pleasure but they had hooks that you could hang your purse and dog lead on. I thought it was a really nice extra touch!
I felt very comfortable walking after dark by myself, and it was worth a few dollars extra to get the added warm fuzzy of good area and clean room.

Great place

We enjoyed our stay here. There was a good bit of grassy area to walk the dogs and they had poop bag stations as well. We were on the third floor but an elevator available helped keep our older arthritic doggie from having to walk stairs.
The room was clean and a good size. Good floor space for our two labradors. The floors were not carpet but were laminate to help for cleaning and not hold dog smells. That was really nice. The beds were comfy but not as good as home.... but where is , right!
The room had a small refrigerator and microwave and coffee maker. The only thing that was a downside was the fact that there were only sheer curtains that covered the windows. Being on the third floor it wasn’t much of an issue. But if we wanted to sleep in it may have hindered that. Not sure if it was just third floor rooms or doggie rooms maybe.🤷🏼‍♀️
The breakfast was really good. The usual eggs, biscuits, gravy, sausage, waffles, cereals, and fruit.
All in all we were very satisfied and would definitely stay again!

Easy to find right off the interstate

We were traveling on I95 and this park was a perfect place to stop and let the boys stretch their legs a bit.
Nice size and has a small and large area.
Some good shade under the trees. There wasn’t any water available at the time but we always travel with water so for us that was no big deal.
We stopped at about 5:00 on a week day and no other dogs were there.
It’s also right across the parking lot from a Hampton Inn. Don’t know their pet policy but that would be awesome for guests to take doggies too.
