Very nice!
Wingate by Wyndham Valdosta/Moody AFBClean and friendly. No fee for my Service Dog, plus a fenced in dog park. All first floor rooms have a small private patio that looks out on the lovely pool area. Great breakfast included. Highly recommend!
Wonderful
The Lyme InnThis hotel is just beautiful. Very pup friendly, and the staff were amazing. I want to especially mention the front desk staff member, Marylin. She was a delight to deal with , both on the phone, and throughout our stay.
Clean and friendly
Hampton Inn & Suites ElyriaA very strange location behind a closed strip mall, but the hotel was fine. There is a nice potty area for dogs, with bags and disposal bin. The breakfast was good, and the hotel was clean and comfy.
Nice historic Inn
The Salem InnGreat hotel, but no area for pets to potty. Busy street with a lot of street noise. The staff and hotel are great, though. Two blocks from all of the Salem shops and restaurants.
Great
Holiday Inn Express & Suites Shelbyville an IHG HotelThe hotel was clean and we got a first floor room for our pup. Nearby restaurants were good as well!
Nice little cabin
Cobble Mountain LodgeWe stayed with our small pup in August. Our cabin was clean and the grounds were nice. My problem came with the $50 pet fee. Our pup is ESA registered, and I showed her registered card with photo upon check in. We were told that they only waive the pet fee for Therapy dogs, not ESA. We travel extensively for work with our dog, and have never been charged the pet fee when showing our registration card for her. Never! When I asked what the $50 fee was for, I was told it was a cleaning fee. Well, they also charge everyone a $25 cleaning fee, which was also added to our bill. $75 cleaning fee for one night stay? All in all, the rate listed on Bring Fido at $159, turned into $273 when taxes, cleaning fees and pet fees were added.
Not happy…
Lake Placid Pub & BreweryWe got on line and signed up for the waitlist for dinner… they don’t take reservations…we chose 7 pm , and requested a “reminder”, which was sent to us. When we arrived a bit before 7, the very crabby waitress at the hostess stand told us that they didn’t have us listed on their waitlist, and insinuated that we were lying. We showed her our “reminder” message, and she said that it meant nothing to her, and told us she couldn’t help us. It should have been proof that we had, indeed, booked a place on the waitlist. So, we and puppy had to find another dog friendly place to eat in Lake Placid without a reservation. We lucked out and found one. An hour later, this place calls us and tells us our place on the waitlist is ready… umm… too late and not helpful! So, if you get on a waitlist here, don’t bet on them recognizing it!
Great hotel..
The Queensbury HotelWe stayed with our Cavalier pup… very accommodating and the rooms are clean and updated. The hotel is really lovely.. very upscale for the price. The only drawback was that, although pet friendly, dogs are not allowed at either of the restaurants in the hotel… not even in their outside seating areas. Very odd, since the hotel itself is dog friendly! We also had the misfortune to stay in this town on a Monday night… most of the Fido recommended eateries are closed on Monday snd Tuesday. We did find a great restaurant within walking distance that was dog friendly and had amazing food and beer. I would highly recommend the Downtown City Tavern… they loved our pup, snd provided water and cooked her a little hamburger Patty…❤️🐶
Wonderful!
The SwansonThe good is amazing… everything from Southern cooking to Seafood. The outdoor seating is on a lovely Victorian covered porch with white tablecloths. The service was top notch. We will definitely eat here again when traveling through Perry!
Loves dogs!
Hampton Inn & Suites TiftonThis hotel is the most pet friendly we have ever stayed at. Your pup is greeted by the front desk staff with a treat and a belly rub! The rooms are immaculate, and smell like the carpets were just scrubbed. There are several dog areas outside with benches for the humans. And to top it all off, they have Fred dinner from 5-7 pm every night! Two weeks ago it was bbq sandwiches and sides, last night it was lasagna, garlic bread and sides… and, wait for it… free beer and wine! We will always stay here when driving through the area!
Nice location near the Turnpike
Holiday Inn Express Boca Raton-West an IHG HotelIt was fine… clean.
