Came here with my dog around 10am just looking for a little outside time. Although short with minimal shade, it wasn’t too hot, and it was pretty cool to read the history panels etc.

i noticed a lot of the negative reviews are from ages ago. this has quickly become my favorite dog park. The owners here actually observe their dogs heavily while playing, which create peace of mind for everyone else. The big dog park is half and half grassy area, which is awesome because if you’re trying to redirect bad digging behaviors in grass with your dog, you can bring them over to the Sandy area. Sometimes the trashcan can be full, but it doesn’t stay that way long. And unlike other dog parks with mostly wood chips, my dog doesn’t leave here covered in dirt.
