Clean and comfy suite and dog friendly!
Candlewood Suites Rocky Mount an IHG HotelCandlewood Suites in Rocky Mount, NC was clean, spacious and extremely comfortable. The shower had great water pressure! Front desk friendly and helpful. Very nice place to stay with your pup.

Very dog friendly hotel
Southern Oaks InnWe decided to see the Light show in St. Augustine this year on a spur of the moment and were fortunate to be able to get a room at this hotel. The rooms are simple but they have everything you need and lots of towels, microwave, fridge, TV and even a dog bed, water and food bowl. There is a large, fence in dog area with agility toys and a gazebo for owners. Apparently, their pool is the larges in the city but we didn't use it. Staff is very nice and there is a large dining room for a hot, served breakfast, cereals, yogurt, toast, bagels, good coffee and juices. It's not too close to all of the old city action but just far enough away not to be too noisy. There is a free tram to take you to points of interest right around the corner from the hotel. Good choice for anyone, but great for people with dogs!

Hyatt Place Cincinnati Blue AshI did not stay here but my husband and our dog did. For a Hyatt property, my husband was disappointed. And, the breakfast was a disaster with curdled milk.

A good place for dog owners
Comfort Inn SomersetNice reception people, clean room, ok breakfast, microwave, refrigerator and room smelled "clean." The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was clean with lots of towels. We will stay there again.

University Red Roof Plus is ok
Red Roof Inn PLUS+ Columbus-Ohio State University OSUThe Red Roof in Columbus, OH is very close to the University. Unfortunately, this Red Roof appears to be in a not so good neighborhood. There were people hanging around the building and the parking lot that looked a little scary. We were happy to have a place to sleep with our dog but I would probably not go back there. The reception people were very nice and professional.
