Nice visit midweek
Riverpark at Cooleemee Falls: the BullholeWe had the area almost to ourselves. Nice shallow water area for dogs to splash around, there is a pretty strong current though that would make it hard for smaller dogs.
Bring water for pup
Stone Mountain Summit TrailThis is a strenuous hike even if you have four legs. But we loved it and our Goldendoodle loved splashing in the falls.
Lots of green space
RayLen Vineyards & WineryDogs were very welcome here and even in the tasting room while leashed. There are plenty of tables outside and the wine was excellent! we visited on a Sunday afternoon and there was a jazz band playing which drew in a nice crowd. We will for sure come back!
Beautiful part of Lewisville
Westbend Bar & VenueWhat a nice surprise, this is a hidden gem in the countryside. Dogs allowed and welcome throughout the tavern, porch and pavilion (on a leash). Nice selection of beer and wine along with very reasonably priced appetizers, entrees and desserts.
Nice pitstop
Tandem CidersVery nice stop off the main thoroughfare. Shaded picnic tables made it comfortable for our dog and I discovered two great ciders that I absolutely love!
Beautiful setting
45 North Vineyard & WineryVery dog friendly! We were greeted with a warm welcome and given many options for seating. Then a staff member brought over a large metal water dish and a dog biscuit. We really enjoyed the wine, the setting and the super friendly staff!
Wonderful beach
Hagar BeachSo surprised to see how much beach there was to explore. Owners and dogs were very well behaved and the sandy beach extends far out into the water.
So chill
Warner Vineyardsmy friend and I enjoyed a sampler on the patio and we received a very warm welcome. When we left, they told us that we were “pawsome” customers😃. This is a great winery and I’m so glad that our dogs were made to feel welcome too!
