Decided to stop for gas to allow everyone to stretch their legs. Was pleasantly surprised to see the teeny off leash dog park! Just big enough to throw a ball and run off some energy before hopping back on the road. Also nicely surprised by the human amenities. Something for everyone in your pack.

We stopped in for a late lunch after a morning of hiking nearby trails with our dogs. The back patio is small but nice. When they took our drink order they also offered to bring out a dog water bowl, which my girls appreciated. Lunch was very good and fresh. And they serve some semi-local Kombucha (tried the pineapple) it was delicious. Did not try the coffee, but overheard another couple compliment it as they debated getting another round.

The fenced area for dogs was very nice, if a bit small. The obstacles for playing/sniffing was a pleasant feature. We stayed in the ‘All Dogs’ area, but the small dogs area was similar. The water fountain and the amount of trashcans and dog bag dispensers was nice. There was lots of bagged poop just sitting out, like someone went around and bagged up all the poop that other pet owners did not pick up-but then left it sitting where they picked it up? Overall my girls had an awesome time running around and checking out the park. And it tired them out before the next leg of our journey.

The waterfalls are such an amazing natural feature. And so neat to be able to get right up to them. Lots of people and dogs wandering through the park. A great visit on your way through town.

The humans in our pack enjoyed the beet salad and some Vietnamese chicken sandwiches. When I requested a bowl for my dogs to have some water, the server brought out a dog bowl and pitcher of water for them. Really great vibe and decor. Dog friendly patio looked equipped for all seasons. Perfect place to cool off and have some grub after walking along Falls Park.
