Dog Friendly Patio

First Watch

First Watch allowed dogs on their patio. Our waitress brought out a water bowl for our dogs. There is a small overhang plus patio umbrellas for shade. Traffic noise was a little loud but not horrible. Food was great - we had their feature summer specials and both enjoyed our meal.

Great Place!

Omaha Dog Bar

This place is a must stop if you have a dog that loves to socialize! We spent an afternoon here and it felt like we were hanging out in a friends backyard watching the dogs play. It was a hot day but they had multiple pools and a sprinkler running for the dogs to keep cool. Lots of bowls of water available also. For the humans they have alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks and food. We had a couple drinks and the pizza. The pizza was SO good! They also had lots of places for the humans to sit and relax in the shade. Their inside is also air conditioned and dogs could also be inside off leash. There are designated areas (inside and outside) if you are eating food and dogs must be on leash if they are in those areas with you. My dog is a social butterfly and she had so much fun! They also have Bark Rangers that are trained in dog body language and there was always someone out and about keeping their eyes on the dogs. And everyone was so friendly (no surprise - dog people are friendly!). Go - you will have a blast!

Lots of green space

Tru by Hilton Omaha I-80 at 72nd Street NE

This hotel was great for my dog and I. Lots of green space to walk your dog. You can actually walk around the whole perimeter of the hotel and go in and out multiple doors. Dog bag and garbage cans all around the perimeter as well. The only spot dogs were not allowed was the food areas but there are lots of spaces in the lobby to sit and hang out and play games. They have two patios - one at the front door and the other off the pool area. We came in and out the pool area to use this patio and there were no issues with this.

The first night we stayed the hotel was full with hockey teams. You could hear kids running in the halls but the second night they were gone and it was much quieter. We were able to set the fan to ‘on’ on the AC unit to drown out the noise outside our room. I wasn’t a huge fan of the beds but I’m also pretty picky. Free bottled water in lobby was a nice perk also! Overall, I would stay here again. Also there is a restaurant just down the street (by car) called First Watch that has a dog friendly patio.

Lots of Green Space

Holiday Inn Kansas City Airport an IHG Hotel

I couldn’t find many reviews on this hotel concerning dogs but we took a chance. And we are glad we did! lots of space to walk your dogs, grass on all sides! They do have waste bags in one grassy area if you need them. We stayed with two dogs and they only charged a $20 pet fee. The rooms look like they have been updated. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfy. and the best part, it was quiet. We were pretty close to the elevator but we never heard it throughout our stay and hardly ever heard doors opening and closing. The quiet helps keep our pups relaxed. It’s also located right off I-29 (easy access) and close to the airport.
