Absolutely loved this place and our pup did too! Beautifully groomed trails. Something for everyone! Snow shoes, cross country skis and our pup all together on the same trails. Everyone we met was friendly. Not crowded as we were there on a weekday. The welcoming owner helped us map out a perfect route for our visit. Loved the warming hug with a pot of soup and freshly baked bread. If we were local, we’d be here all the time!

Totally enjoyed this place! Stopped in with our pooch on a grey dreary winter afternoon and immediately felt at home! Friendly people, staff, and pups all hanging out together enjoying tasty craft cocktails and bourbon flights. The resident Berniedoodle was the sweetest pup ever and made the rounds visiting the tables.

What a great visit for our pup’s birthday!! So many fun and delicious things to choose from! The on-premises bakery was making cookies and treats that smelled and looked so delicious, we would have eaten them ourselves! Our pup was greeted with a special cookie and the staff actually sang happy birthday to her! What a fun place!!

We were traveling to New River Gorge National Park with our pup and needed a convenient, dog-friendly place to stay. This place was clean, cozy & convenient! From the first phone call until we checked out, the staff was welcoming to us and our dog & seemed truly focused on ensuring we all had a nice visit. It was wonderful! Our cabin (the Mountaineer) could comfortably accommodate two couples or a family. The grounds were beautiful and nice for walking with our dog. We were sorry to leave and highly recommend it!

Refillable bottles of wine, interesting appetizers & desserts, live music, lots of Fido-friendly outdoor seating. Dogs welcomed; children are not. Across the street from a kayak launch. Nice, friendly crowd. A perfect way for us all to spend an afternoon!

Perfect stop with our pup. Good-sized patio, bowl of water for our pup. Friendly dog-loving waitress. Nice selection of pub food on menu. We’d go back if in the area again.

Great beer selection, good food. Extremely accommodating, friendly waitstaff. Covered patio outside the back of the main restaurant with easy access for our pup. Gave it 4 bones because patio needed to be swept. Very family friendly with a lot of kids when we were there which was a bit too tumultuous for us (not the restaurant’s fault on that). We would go back if in the area.

We were staying at a nearby hotel for a family gathering. Restaurant very conveniently located. Good-sized covered patio. Friendly waitstaff welcomed our pup. good food, great beer selection. Cobb salad was amazing. We only gave it 4 bones because the table was sticky & patio floor needed to be swept. We ended up going there twice in a 4-day weekend & would go again.

Casual sidewalk seating worked out perfectly for us and our pooch! very welcoming, immediately brought her a bowl of ice water on a warm evening. We shared three menu items, each better than the next! the lamb bucatini was especially flavorful as were the meatball appetizer and burrata salad. Waitstaff was attentive and friendly! We would go again if in the area!

Loved this place! Shaded patio perfect for a hot summer brunch with our pup. Friendly waitstaff greeted us with a bowl of cold water and a biscuit! Great menu with many interesting, delicious options. Mellow live music added to a wonderful overall visit! We will definitely go back - with or without our pup!

Convenient to our destination and dog friendly - perfect combination. Good-sized room, plenty of room to set up our travel crate and still have floor space to move around. Non-carpeted floor in the room. Ground floor room for easy exit. Dedicated, clean pet relief area (always a big plus). Free hot breakfast (for us, that is!) with a number of options to pick from. We’d stay here again when traveling with our pup.

A neighbor recommended this place because of the food - it got even better when we learned it was dog friendly! On a hot summer evening, our pooch was greeted with a bowl of ice water! Patio was large enough that she had a little corner to herself, away from other pups who were there, too. Delicious, interesting menu! great service! We’d highly recommend even without a dog! We will definitely go back!

From start to finish, our visit went smoothly. The front desk staff upon arrival and departure were cheerful, professional and welcoming. Hotel lobby and common areas were tidy and appealing. Room was clean & quiet. Plenty of towels in the spacious bathroom. We didn’t stay for the complementary breakfast but it looked very nice & smelled delicious. They welcomed our dog (for an extra fee) and the 2 pet relief areas on the property were clean & well maintained. A little welcome gift bag for our pup was a nice touch. We would definitely stay here again and recommend to others.

This restaurant gets high reviews on other sites and there was a wait for a table on a Sunday afternoon but we don’t get all the hype. A somewhat limited menu. While huge portions, the food was just ok. Four outdoor tables allowed for dogs but nothing other than that, not even a bowl of water for our pup on a hot afternoon. Looks like there are a lot of other interesting places in town with outdoor seating

We were visiting friends in Pittsfield and needed a place to stay with a dog. Wow, what a wonderful find this place was! Beautiful, spacious, immaculately clean room. Professional, friendly front desk staff. Convenient, free parking on site. Loved the historical aspect and details of the building. Even without a dog, one of the nicer hotels we’ve stayed in. Not inexpensive but well worth the price. We easily would have given it 5 bones except for 2 things. The restaurant and lounge are currently closed. And, contrary to the description, there is no green space on the premises for dogs to relieve themselves. In fact, the recommended park is several blocks away - a long walk for the first potty break early in the morning. Regardless of those points, we would absolutely go back and highly recommend!

A local favorite just got better when we were able to bring our puppy to join us for Sunday brunch. Comfortable outdoor seating, interesting upscale menu, delicious food, generous portions. Overall enjoyable experience.

We booked this last minute and were traveling with our dog so didn’t have many choices. The positives - a ground floor room, close to an exit outside, and linoleum floors which were good for our puppy’s first hotel visit. The room didn’t smell like a dog room. It was convenient to where we were going. Good sized room for our travel crate and for us all together. The downsides - pretty much everything else. There was no soap or even a soap dish in the bathroom, no cups, no tissues, no washcloths with the towels, a partially used roll of toilet paper and no spare. The mattress pad felt like a sheet of cardboard and was curled up at the edges. The bathtub faucet was partially hanging off the wall. The table top and counters looked like they had seen better days. We could go on, but you get the point. Next time, we would look elsewhere.

From the moment we were greeted with a bowl of ice water for our puppy, along with her own menu, we knew we loved this place! Adriana our server was friendly, professional, and made us all feel welcomed. The food was amazing, delicious, served at the pace we wanted. Do not miss the beautiful burrata salad. The generous lobster roll was great as it was - the side of Parmesan fries made it perfection! Plenty of room on the patio for our puppy to spread out. We would come back here even without a dog!
