Love it! Great breeze and shady under the umbrella
Herschel's Scratch KitchenGreat service and food! Our waitress brought out a dog bowl and cold water for Banjo. It was a really hot day, but the breeze was like heaven under the umbrella.

Very clean and spacious room
La Quinta by Wyndham FlorenceWe arrived around 1, but check-in time wasn’t until 3. My dog and I walked the property for a bit to stretch our legs. I was surprised to see that the “fenced dog area” was not fenced in. It was an open area, but we were still glad they had a good sized area for potty breaks. The hotel books families with dogs on the first floor. The room was clean and the bed smelled fresh and clean. The staff was very nice as well. The breakfast was awesome, especially when he had to get back on the road early. The only reason that I am giving 4/5 bones is because the description of the dog area was misleading when it stated “fenced” I assumed it was a fenced in area. Not just an open area with a fence along the woods line. I would stay here again :)

Love to get dirty and play
Gunner Paw ParkWe loved this park and thought it was really cool that it is next to a cow farm. My dog Loved all of the scents! We also loved that there was a water hose available 24/7 to refill the community water bowl or use to rinse off your dirty fur baby. It’s almost all sand, but is very shaded. There is also a childrens playground next to it, so if you have small kids, then you can wear out everybody in one visit! There is a small dog enclosed area, as well as a large dog enclosed area. We are from VA visiting family here for the holidays and this was the only dog park close by in the area.
