We have one dog, a lab-mix, named Betty. She's super sweet, and a pretty good traveler. She doesn't like to be left alone, so we need to find places that welcome her to join us!

Great location!
Taughannock Falls State Park CampgroundWe camped here for one night and enjoyed it. Our dog was welcome everywhere (on a leash) in the park, except for the beach at the lake. She joined us hiking on all 3 trails, and enjoyed it. There are a lot of stairs on the rim trails, so if you have an older dog or a dog with joint issues, those trails might not be good choices. The Gorge Trail is a pretty easy, flat walk out to the see the big falls up close. Overall, it was easy to camp and get around here with our dog, and the nearby city of Ithaca has several restaurants with dog-friendly outdoor seating.
