Home2 Suites is a fantastic option in Bismarck. We were happily greeted by the desk personnel! Treats on arrival and checkout! Pet fee is $50 for 1-4 nights $75 for 5+ nights. Excellent place for longer stays. A small kitchenette in each room for cooking simple meals if you wish. Plenty of storage and very comfortable beds.

Started out with a warm, helpful greeting, and a yummy treat for my pup! Room was what I would have expected from a Best Western, starting to show its age a bit, but very clean. Bed was nice and comfy too. There is a nice river walk as others mentioned. Be careful after it rains. The surrounding area gets very soggy and muddy. The walk near the hotel is quite short. To get to the full walk you need to cross a rather busy intersection with no stop lights. We waited nearly 5 minutes without a safe gap to cross. We eventually gave up and walked around the hotel. Stinks, because beyond that intersection is a really nice and fascinating area! Fantastic pizza place right next door! Applebees across the busy intersection previously mentioned.

Last thing to note, there is a rather busy rail line next to the hotel. As a train enthusiast, I really appreciated the sights and sounds. Unlike many communities, they don’t have a no horn zone through the night, so I was awoken every couple of hours to the loud horns at the nearby crossing. It was so loud, I checked my window twice to make sure it was closed. Keep in mind if you have a busy day and need a full nights sleep, you may want to find something on the southwest side of town. For the price, I probably would look elsewhere. I must’ve hit a busy time to pay over $200 for the night. $120-150 would consider again.

Home2 Suites have quickly become my favorite Hilton brand to stay with. Nice modern rooms, little kitchenettes, comfortable beds and reasonable prices. Also dog friendly! Treats at check in. This particular location has a grassy area by the entrance with doggy bags/trash cans. Busy parking lot on weekends, but lots of food and gas nearby!

We stayed here for two nights with our golden retriever and loved every minute of it!! Very clean campground, not too busy late in the season. They have a small but convenient dog park, lots of pet waste stations throughout the property. Staff is friendly, beautiful gated property that feels very safe.
The cottages are amazing! Very nice and modern, great appliances and a fully equipped kitchen. All the pots and pans you could need, just bring your own food! Lots of storage and the bedroom was very comfortable. Loft bedroom upstairs too, but we didn't use that too much. Also they didn't show it in the pictures, but there is a full bath/shower combo in the bathroom. Plan on a quick shower as the water heater is not very large. Overall we were absolutely stunned with this property, especially for the price. I'm sure it was a good end of season deal, but we will definitely be coming back!! Hopefully for much longer!

Friendly staff, pets ride free! Free daily parking in the lot across the street. Super quick easy walk, or shuttle ride. Parking available in the lot by the ferries too. That costs $20 a day I believe.

Get in line early with a dog, you can sit up front for extra room for large dogs to spread out. Otherwise it may be cramped as they are not supposed to be in the aisle.

Cute little toy shop! Friendly owner who has treats! We found a great Mackinac Island puzzle for a good price! Our golden found a great place to nap right in the middle of the shop! Haha

This place has great burgers and flatbread pizzas! I'm sure the other food is good too. Pups sit on the patio. Seating is rather close together, our golden didn't have much room to lay down. If there are other furry friends nearby they can socialize quite easily. Could be good or bad. Haha. No water for the pups, but the staff was friendly even though our massive golden liked to visit them in the aisles!
