Clearly marked path around a little island by Wellfleet Center. Parking near by (400 ft) either by an honor system donation in a private lot or free in a public parking lot. Great wooden bridge to the little island. At low tide you can follow the sand path on the other side of the island to a great sitting area overlooking the wharf. There’s a hidden bench to sit in the center of the island to sit in the woods.

We'll be back next year when I have a convention in Worcester, MA to go to. Clean, well appointed, friendly staff, beautifully landscaped,, convenient parking, delicious food - I can;'t say enough about this place. The pet friendly rooms are in a section that was once a motor lodge. You would never think they had pups stay in these rooms. They were clean and smelled nice. Backed against the woods, sitting on our balcony, you would have thought you were in Walden. The food in the restaurant was wonderful and the wait staff is great. Plenty of places to walk your dog in a country setting. Even with a full schedule for the Inn with 6 different events going on, you would never know it. These guys know what they are doing. And you can NOT beat the price. Tell them Biscuit sent you!
