Beautiful Park
Louis Armstrong ParkThis is a beautiful park with lots of history. While it is dog-friendly, pets must stay leashed and it isn’t really geared toward dogs. It’s a good place to go for a stroll and a potty break while you’re in the French Quarter, but I suggest bringing your own bags for cleanup.
Magazine Location
Dat DogDat Dog on Magazine is the best location for pet-friendliness. I wasn’t sure if I could bring him in to order, but our dog was welcomed inside by multiple employees. Tons of outdoor seating with some sun coverage and water bowls for the pups. The food was excellent as always.
A favorite!
Croissant d'Or PatisserieTraditional French bakery in the original Angelo Brocato location. The almond croissants and made-to-order breakfast sandwiches are incredible, but there are no bad choices here. There is a small but lovely dog-friendly courtyard (try to avoid the early morning rush) and dogs are allowed inside while you order.
