Surprised to find this restaurant

The outdoor seating area is great for the dog. The wait staff was attentive to us and the dog. The food and service was fantastic. We ate there 3 times in 3 days!

Great Beach but Crowded

Dog Park Beach at Fort de Soto Park

This is a great beach for the dog. We were there 4 times in February and it was crowded. It is a popular beach for the campers and locals. All of the dogs off leash were friendly!

Best Dog Beach Ever

Brohard Paw Park

I find it incredible that this park has bad reviews. This is the only off lease dog park we could find on the west coast of Florida. Of course, there is going to be dogs that don't behave. We are so thankful there is a designated area for us to have fun with our dog. The parking lot needs to be larger!

Shark Valley in Everglades National Park

Great for people but not for Dogs. We didn't have much time so we stopped for about an hour. The Senior Park pass makes short visits like this affordable. Also there is RV parking. The parking lot was full of cars so we had to wait for cars to leave before they would let the cars in ahead of us. I don't no why they didn't let us by the cars because the RV parking was open and it is next to the Ranger Station so they could see the openings. If you only have time for for a short walk go down the (right) side next to the water. Lots of wildlife, birds, turtles and of course Alligators. The tram ride looked great also it would be an easy bike ride if you have time. Reminder no pets are allowed out of the parking lot and they will not let you run the generator to keep the RV cool. SO if it warm and sunny pets are not a good idea.

It Is Now Names “Boatyard”

There is a recent review that stated the restaurant is not pet friendly. I talked to the staff and they said the deck is always open to dogs and the inside restaurant is only open to service dogs. Now on to the food and service. We were greeted and seated almost immediately. We were lucky there is generally a wait. Our server Karen was excellent and one of the first things she did was get the dog ice water! Our food was excellent with a beautiful view on the canal and boat traffic. The bread is $5 and we had it for dessert. Yum

Wow, Great Hotel With Large Field

Hilton Ocala

This is one of the nicest hotels we have stayed in with the dog! Hotel staff was very friendly and the room was excellent. The restaurant had an outside area so we could eat with the dog. The unique feature about this hotel is a large field behind the property. Great place to walk the dog and to see a clydesdale horse that lives on the property. If you are there on the weekend there is a carriage ride for hotel guests.

Nice Hotel for the Money

Country Inn & Suites by Radisson Savannah I-95 North GA

The front desk was very friendly and glad to help with a pet friendly room. I was told to always call ahead for pet friendly rooms. They only have limited rooms for pets. The room was clean and comfortable. The area around the hotel is okay for walking the dog.
