Date Night + Dog
Harbor Fish Market & GrilleWe had an all around excellent experience here. When I called to make a reservation I let them know right away I was traveling with my dog, and they made us feel very welcomed the whole time. Upon arrival, they asked where we'd prefer to sit and they helped us find a table off to the side away from hustle and bustle. They then provided the doggy menu; we ordered the hamburger and kibble which included a generous serving and was served with dinner. This was greatly appreciated by my pup who is not generally excited to eat while traveling. The human food was spectacular as well. And did I mention the atmosphere and view?! This is one of the more up-scale places (reflected in food prices but definitely worth it) I've brought my dog, but we were very comfortable there (thankfully he is very well behaved, so that helped). All in all, we will definitely be back.
Above and beyond
Brat House GrillThis restaurant is located on a busy road and the patio is right out front, but there is plenty of space (even my anxious dog felt comfortable) and shade from umbrellas. I was so grateful that the server automatically brought out a bowl of cold water, and it was fun to order a treat for my pup off the dog menu. He had the chicken, which was a grilled chicken breast served in a bowl with broth. It was served hot (which wasn't ideal on a warm day) but I added a few ice cubes to cool it down, and Porter loves it.
