Its a quiet area to walk around your dog, Vassar College is just in front we love the area on top of the hotel. But, and a big but, everyone were woken up with a false fire alarm late in the evening we were back in bed past midnight. Then it happened again early in the morning. Once is okay but two false alarms within 24 hrs is not good when you booked the hotel with the idea to get away from the city and get a full night sleep. Some technical issues but staff are not sure. Also, only 1 water bottle is given free even if 2 people were booked for the stay. There's no option to pay for breakfast with your stay. There's a restaurant inside and you can sit outside if you have a dog. Plus side, clean room and whole hotel, they provide bowls and bed for our dog. Transparency they did refund dog fee for the stay.

We had a great time, our 6 years old husky loved that he gets to be at the balcony and watches the wild life outside. The staff Holly was very nice. We enjoyed the breakfast. It was quiet and very clean. I lived the pool and the sauna. Just what we needed for a little getaway from the city. It was so near to the walking path and there's a huge dog run for a husky energy. We just wish there was complimentary water in the room and an option to order food in the hotel, but we understand that it was low season and staff are taking their break too. We will be back.
