We travel between Maine and Texas every June and November. We made the mistake of staying here Oct 2021. Signs requiring masks - no employee had on a mask. Ok, not a big problem. Room was sparse, smelly, floor was sticky, and lightbulbs burned out. Very expensive pet fees and an overall bad experience. Would never stay here again.

Room was not clean, smelled, in room fridge standing alone on floor w an extension cord running across room to outlet. Lobby was never not full of loud SHOELESS people just hanging out. We travel back and forth between TX and Maine and this is the only hotel we’d never stay in again under any circumstances.

We needed a place to stay for 3 nights due to a leak and no water at our house. This hotel was immaculately clean, well-lighted outside, has great grassy areas for dogs, wonderful employees and a very good hot breakfast. Highly recommend if you’re in the area.

We stayed here with our Irish Terrier for two nights while we explored Down East and Campobello Island. The staff was incredible; so much knowledge of the area and our “dog room” was clean as a pin. Not luxurious by any means but great WiFi, A/C, shower and very nice free continental breakfast. Room doors open to the outside and there’s a huge lush area behind the hotel for dogs.

Room was spotless, employees very welcoming and friendly. This hotel is outside of Rochester in a quiet area with easy access to restaurants, etc. Nice dog walking area, too.

We drive between Maine and Texas twice a year and this is a favorite stop for us. Everything about this hotel is terrific - clean, welcoming, great location. Highly recommend.
