Small But Perfect

The park is probably only 20 x 100 ft but well kept, fenced, and has bowl of water.

Since my throwing ability is limited this park was perfect for a fetch session with my dog!

I would definitely come back!

Best Dog Park We’ve Been To

Great dog park. Hard to find because google maps takes you to just the start of the park. The path to the dog park is at the corner of Auburn Ravine and Kensington Lane. Path is very short and nicely paved.

Two separate areas - small and dog. Nice water hose set up. Nice shade. Grass not bark. Great for throwing chuck-it for the dog as the big dog area is long.

Closed on Tuesday morning for maintenance. Although the workers unlocked it early for us.

One of the best dog parks we’ve seen

Great Hike

This place is great! Nice trail - dirt, wide, well taken care of. Parking is weird. You park in a paved lot then walk across a creek and through a 7th Day Adventist retirement village. Just follow the oval signs painted on the road/sidewalk.

No maps of the trail at the park so use the one posted on BringFido app.

Good vista of Sonora at top.

Great Park!

We are visiting Carlsbad and needed a large space to play fetch. This is a great park. Lots of running room. Lots of nice mulch. No holes or mud spots. Other dogs and owners were very nice. Our dog doesn’t like to play even though he is just a puppy (1 yo) and will snap at other dogs if they run with him and they encroach on him. Otherwise he just ignores the other dogs. The owners were all watching any interchange and would call their dog away. The park is large so we could stay at one end and wear our dog out.

There is a separate section for under 35 lb dogs. Concrete area for owners. Small sunshade. We were there in October at 4pm so weather was perfect. I will bet it gets boiling hot midday in the summer.

We will come again!
