The hotel appears brand new or close to it. Very clean modern room. Dog station right outside the front doors. Nice little walkable side streets with restaurants and shops. Directly across from a police substation. Ample free parking across the street. Perfect stay.

The Westin is a beautiful hotel directly on the beach and very dog friendly! The front desk said that the fine for dogs barking in the room is really just a deterrent against out of control pets.

This was our 2nd stay here and our room was much smaller than the huge room (with gas fireplace, sofa, wet bar and dining table for 2) we had in 2024, but the rooms are beautiful. Very comfortable king bed/pillows. All rooms are pet friendly. Free Continental Breakfast can be ordered via in room QR code and picked up boxed in the lobby. Great Free Coffee/Tea setup in the lobby as well as in room Keurig machine. Several pet relief spots directly across the small side street by the (paid) well lit parking lot. Ample free parking at meters behind the hotel. Roof top deck is open till midnight! Pets are allowed free run of the hotel! Carrie at the front desk was wonderful. We arrived at 9pm to find the entire area around the hotel and the hotel plunged in darkness due to a local power outage but we were still able to check in and access the room as emergency lighting was working! Great stay and highly recommend.

The price was right but the room was tired. Ample parking right outside your room and a large parking lot with multiple mulched spots and 2 large grassy areas in front of (right by the road though) and behind the building. Very close to the beach. Once we entered our room our dogs began scratching at something under the bed which turned out to be either old food or some sort of large dead insect plasters to the floor. Room attendants were getting ready to leave for the day but did come and clean behind both beds. The rooms are in need of an update. Old light fixtures and faucets in a bathroom that needs to be gutted. The beds and linens were clean. It wasn’t so bad that we had to leave but this place is not for those who need a spotless hotel room. Great if you’re on a budget and can put up with some grunge!

Nice hotel. Dedicated outside dog spot with plenty of grass.
