Bartaco has a most pleasant, spacious, pet-friendly patio shaded by two mature trees and protected from busy Roswell Road by a wooden post fence. We enjoyed street tacos and yummy street corn for lunch. The crispy oyster taco is not to be missed! A passion fruit margarita and an icy cold Tecate hit the spot for my husband and me. Teddy and Lola enjoyed icy cold water from the carafe left at our table. Enamel water bowls were stacked nearby on the patio. If you don’t see them, look around or ask your server. Perfect spot for an outdoor lunch with your best friend!

Just a mile from I-20 this casual restaurant surrounded by woods offers a porch with outdoor pet friendly seating. The Ruben sandwich was tasty and our server, Jessica, was super friendly and attentive. No special accommodations for dogs. Bring your own water bowl.

There are only a few tables at this pet friendly patio, but it is comfortable enough. Good beer selection with six Bre’s on tap and daily drink specials are offered. We just had wings, messy but good. Wait and hostess staff are super, but no special accommodations are made for dogs that would get them Five Bones. Bring your own water bowl.

This Culver’s has a nice grassy border for pet relief (bring your own bag). The concrete umbrella table surface required cleaning, but were comfortable enough on an overcast 82 degree July day. Burger and fries were good. Made to order so not fast.

Como Smoke and Fire’s brisket sandwich comes with thick slices of tender beef- more than enough to share with our dogs - with dill pickles and red onion slices on the side. Add your choice of three different BBQ sauces and your choice of side. I had the loaded potato salad- excellent choice. The portion size was perfect- not too big or small.

The wait staff was very welcoming, offering bowls of ice water for our dogs and a large dog biscuit each.

The patio is covered and felt cool, even in July with the temperature near 90 degrees. Our dogs enjoyed the cool concrete floor.

Five bones for the great combination of excellent food, comfortable outside seating and stellar welcoming wait staff for pet families.

Hubby, me and our two dogs enjoyed a delicious lunch on Top of the Rock’s dog-friendly heated covered deck reached through the interior of the modern rustic dining area. Open fire pits and outdoor heaters kept the area warm enough to do without a coat even though it was a chilly April afternoon. For our dog’s comfort we brought a pad for them to lie on and kept on their fleece coats. The temperature is not as warm at floor level. No water bowls were offered, fortunately we had our own.

Often places with fantastic views have terrible food. Not so at Top of the Rock. The food was excellent. We both had club sandwiches made with sliced from the breast turkey. The French fries were delicious - from fresh potatoes - not frozen. The table next to us was ecstatic over the quality of their wood oven pizza.

Service was excellent and dogs were warmly greeted. Giving five bones on the food quality, view and warm pet welcome, despite the lack of water bowls.

Top of the Rock is close to I-24, so if you are just passing through it’s an easy stop. In addition to the restaurant’s fantastic view there is an adjacent overlook area just a short stroll away and a good spot to stretch your four and two footed legs.

The mouth watering smell of grilled burgers in the parking lot did not steer us wrong. Burgers arrived on grilled buns, cooked exactly to order, with ample sides of tater tots and onion strings (hubby’s). Pet friendly patio is enclosed with an iron fence, handy for hooking a leash to. Patio has heaters, not needed this visit, but sure to give comfort on colder days/nights.

We enjoyed a crab cake sandwich lunch with our two doggos here on their small beachside patio. Food was very good and staff were very welcoming. A bowl of water was brought out and our waitress told us, "We treat the critters the same as any other guest."
Most tables had umbrellas so shade was not a problem. You can hear the ocean more than see it as the location is set behind the dunes. It was still very pleasant. Highly recommend this location.
