Decent choice for those traveling with dogs
Hyatt Place Glendale Los AngelesWe chose this hotel because of their pet policies, which allow you to leave your dogs unattended. They provided a sign to hang on the door that alerts staff that there are pets inside. When I contacted them before my trip to let them know that we were bringing our 2 dogs, they were very accommodating and asked if we would need anything (bowls, etc.) My dogs tend to bark if they hear anyone, but the hotel was so quiet, we didn't have much of an issue. And no one complained when they did bark.
We paid a $75 non-refundable pet fee. Breakfast and wifi was included in our booking. Breakfast was eggs, porridge, muffins, fruit, etc. No bacon/sausage, unfortunately. There are computers and a printer you can access in the lobby. We paid $15 per night for parking. Parking is down the alley in a garage a few minutes walk away. The biggest downside is that there isn't a designated dog walking area. We walked down a residential street that had some grassy areas along the road, so it wasn't too out of the way.
Lots of restaurants and shopping in the area, including Olive Garden, Cheesecake Factory, Target and a beautiful outdoor shopping area that has a large park area and fountain. It's a must-see! Staff was friendly! All in all, I would stay here again if I had my dogs with me.
