TLDR: great hotel, dog-friendly, fantastic restaurant, unclear online booking experience. All hotels should be like this. Dog friendly, no fee, no matter the dog's size, breed, or weight. This was probably one of my favourite hotel experiences in a long time. The only reason it lost a half star was due to parking. When booking it gave me the option of a $12+ parking OR $12+ breakfast. I selected the breakfast thinking we could self-park in their undercover parking garage.
Upon arrival, we were told by the valet staff and front desk staff that breakfast AND parking were not an option, as I clicked "Best Flexible Member Exclusive Rate," thinking it was a discounted rate. We were hesitant to pay the valet parking overnight fee of $55. However, we wanted to park undercover because we traveled across the country and had all our belongings in the car and in the rooftop cargo carrier. Luckily, we found free parking on the street as it was late Friday evening to Saturday. Overall, the hotel was beautiful and clean, and the King Bed Suite was super comfy and spacious. Will definitely return.

4/5 bones. This was our second Kimpton Hotel experience. It was lovely. The lift felt a little vintage and was pretty loud but other than that the hotel room was lovely. We loved the bathrobes, the modern lobby and restaurant. The staff were all friendly and kind towards us and our fur baby.
Went to CPR as a pitstop begote our four drive back home. It was closed, we asked the recreational centre empolyee and he told us they're alwaus closed on Monday We walked in the park adjacent to CPR.
