Linens were clean, price was nice
Lodge at KennebunkScared of tub with no stopper, yucky shower head with little hot water and sketchy wiring; have to keep outside light on to keep tv on - enjoyed Disney Channel but no instructions about remote. Honestly too frenzied - grow grass - be more dog friendly - not leave keys in door for check in - anyone else can get in or copy key - staff was nice - shame though because it could be cute & pleasant but glad I only stayed one night
My dog liked it
Red Roof Inn PLUS+ Boston - Woburn/ BurlingtonMy dog thought it was great because being a Beagle he was able to sniff out a piece of deli meat someone had tossed in the bush near the front entrance. Flower container near enterance full of cigarette butts. Trash, cigarette butts, dog poop everywhere outside. Front entrance was not easy to find at first & lobby was sad. Room had stucco walls & paint colors were depressing. Dried paint splatters on the tub & toliet. Parts of the refrigerator on the door missing. Microwave worked but didn't turn & made a loud noise when on. Room was clean. Glad it was dog friendly, good price & happy I only stayed for one night.
Wonderful Experience & Very Dog Friendly
Seashore Trolley MuseumAs a solo traveler I was looking for something interesting to do while in Maine so I went to the Seashore Trolley Museum with my dog Nick. The museum was easy to find. All the staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Most of the staff said they were volunteers who were there because they loved the trolleys and enjoyed doing what they were doing. I happened to be there when they were having the Pumpkin Patch Trolley. There were a lot of families in attendence and they all seemed to be enjoying the day and the trolley ride to the pumpkin patch. There were a lot of smiling children. The exhibits were very interesting; you could spend an hour or more than three hours there and you would have a great time. I would highly recommend visiting the Seashore Trolley Musuem.
