Clean but very expensive. $39 day parking fee. Vending/ice machines out of order. A/C intermittent. No welcome pack for dog. Tons of other options in the area. I messed up picking this one. They advertised that they offer dog walkers or supervision, they don’t. I wouldn’t allow it if they did. Their detachment from the customers was palpable. You could tell that NOBODY liked working there. There is a reason Sonesta is having a hard time selling 68 hotels!

well... not great. freeway close meaning, on the off ramp. awful bed. springs with blanket. Smokey. 1 towel. booked 2 nights, stayed 1. never again. concerned about cleanliness. people were nice. sketchy neighborhood. people living (arguing) in campers (several) on off ramp. again, people were nice. standing water in shower. hopefully I’m not sick with COVID in 2 weeks. I would have canceled but I was 20 minutes past cancellation time and was charged. there was a guard in well lit parking lot and I was able to park directly in front of my door.

Clerk admitted after bait and switch that the queen room is “never available for dogs.”

Lobby burned out years ago. Second floor windows boarded up on back of building.

The overall experience was cohesive and fun. Loved the collegiate vibe! Super creative interiors were soothing and nostalgic. Bed was comfortable and the staff was fantastic. I arrived at 10:30 on my second visit and the valet was sent home. I was concerned about valuables in my car. Manager assured me it would be safe. It was parked in front of the valet stand all night! Plus they didn’t charge valet rate as they technically didn’t park car.
My doggo loves nice hotels and this place didn’t disappoint. Had an amazing meal in the lobby restaurant and good coffee at Poindexters.
I am traveling cross country again this fall and I will definitely plan on a few nights at Graduate. Truly 5 star.

I’m a huge fan of Kimpton, but, this is a motel at best. The staff is fantastic and a visit to the restaurant is worth the trip alone. When it first opened, the grounds and flower boxes were stunning. Now they are lanky and sad. (What can I say, I love landscapes!”)
Overall, you sense that Goodland had a lot of ideas, but obviously there is no cohesive thought.
Motel mattress was lumpy, rope furniture is super uncomfortable, semi private bath didn’t leave me any secrets from my spouse... again, not a real Kimpton experience.
The staff is what makes it a pleasurable experience.
Would stay overnight again, but not any longer. The Canary is a better fit for my dollar when in the area.

Power went out for hours, sheets wouldn’t cover window so no privacy to get dressed. Published dog rate is 15.00, got there and it was 50.00. St. George is a trap and they have a very low bar. Paid extra for a “jetted tub”. Ummm, it was a tiny heart shaped thing that was hilarious, as well as unsanitary.

Nice hotel, beautiful design, tiny “suite?”, fun staff. Typically Kimpton!!!
However, starting at 3 am the trash trucks start arriving. Followed by the vendors. Every 15 minutes a clang, Boom, POW. Next to a bus terminal and at about 5:30am the busses started every 6 minutes.
The pup never really relaxed which made me unsettled.
Charming but LOUD!

Charming room with fireplace was perfect for a lazy day! Comfortable bed, quiet surroundings , kind staff... what else could you want? The river view is not to be missed!
Room service was perhaps one of the best experience I’ve ever had with in room dining.
The dog was completely at home and was cheerfully greeted by all!
Last minute decision to stay another night. Glad we did!
All and all, a typical Kimpton experience! Excellent.
