Was just OK
La Quinta by Wyndham Greensboro NCAfter a very long car ride Max was excited to see people. Wanted to make friends with folk in the lobby - all thought him adorable and he barked his friendly want to play bark as they played with him while I checked in. Staff made a bit of a big deal about finding a room - “handicapped” she said as if I’d mind - since he was a “barker.” I didn’t mind but seemed a bit of a fuss about a 13 pound fluff ball and was a little off putting. Max of course didn’t bark once we left the lobby. Room clean enough but the rug needed cleaning or replacement. Max smelled every inch of that room.
As it turns out they were renovating rooms. And after the fuss at the desk we met three other dogs and their owners. So I thought ok they should be used to dogs here. Max was not welcomed in the lobby for breakfast although he was at at previous Hyatt hotel. Didn’t mind taking coffee and a bagel to the room. A little difficult to travel alone with a dog when they can’t be left in the room alone. Rules are rules and we obey them. More expensive but I highly recommend Hyatt.
