Good Food and Nice Patio in Back
Maya Mexican RestaurantThe staff were friendly and accommodating. Even thought the patio had a sign to enter in the front, we saw others go through the back gate to the patio (which is next to the parking lot). There are dog bowls available for water if you ask.
They do charge &3 for chips and salsa but that wasn’t a deal breaker for us. I ordered one of their lunch specials and my husband ordered breakfast. Both were excellent!
Hands down, the best restaurant for dogs!
The Mayor's PlaceThis family-owned restaurant loves dogs! They have a wonderful covered patio in the back and their food is real down-home cooking. It was a great experience all around.
Our Place To Stop On The Way
Summerland Beach CafeWe love this place! Even during the pandemic they manage to make lunch a special treat for Rosie the Pug, my husband and myself. we can’t wait to eat there again.
We Had A Great Time!
Fireside Inn On Moonstone BeachAll three of us really enjoyed our stay at the Fireside Inn and our walks across the street on the boardwalk at Moonstone Beach. The accommodations were very nice. The town of Cambria is very dog friendly and Robin’s Restaurant on Burton is our favorite place to eat, under the covered patio-garden area. Many of the shop owners invited Rosie in to browse.
We’ve already signed up to return in March. Rosie can hardly wait!
Very Dog Friendly
Cambria Palms MotelThis is a nice place to stay and just far enough away from the East Village area to be quiet. It has its own large yard that our Pug Rosie found interesting. The weekend we stayed it was sold out.
Super Dog Friendly Restaurant!
Agave Maria'sThere were at least 6 other dogs of all sizes on the patio when we dropped in for lunch. The waiter brought us a bowl of water a few minutes after we sat down.
The food is fresh and delicious, and their margaritas are not to be missed!
Great Hotel For Dogs
Glen Tavern InnWe enjoyed our two night stay with Rosie the Pug at this historic hotel. There’s a dog friendly grassy spot out front with poop bags and the hotel’s restaurant, Enzo’s, is more than happy to accommodate take out orders if you want to eat in your room (we found out later we could have had a waiter serve us and Rosie at the game table in the lobby).
The area around the hotel is great for going on walks, including a railroad park across the street.
Great Dog-Friendly Place
Rabalais Bistro and BakeryThis was within walking distance of the Glen Tavern Inn, where we were staying with our pug, Rosie. We enjoyed their Cajon breakfast and Rosie enjoyed the enclosed patio out front.
Improved!!!
MacKay Park Bark ParkMy last review mentioned that there were no separate yards for small and large dogs. That’s no longer the case!!!
There are now separate areas (both fully inclosed) for small dogs and large dogs. The two separate areas are also surrounded by a very tall fence, but only on three sides. Down the road about 500 ft is a playground with restrooms.
There are poop stations, but no water. BYOB of it.
