Great BBQ for the Buck!
Polk City BBQ CompanyStopped at Polk City BBQ while heading south on FL SR 33. They had sll konds of great bbq.We ordered the Van Fleet dinner and it fed the 2 of us and made enough for 2 meals. There are two shaded outdoor tables plus takeout. Well worth it!

Needs Improvement
Baymont by Wyndham WaycrossThe motel has seen better days. The rooms are borderline clean and there are no signs thta extra cleaning has been done due to covid. The outside parking lot is large but no real place to walk the dog. The first non-smoking room we were given had been used by a cigar smoker so we were given another one. Furniture old and faded. Will stay somewhere else if we pass that way again

Great Place To Bring Our Dog, Mama Mia
chops and hopsMama Mia, our Benji terrier approved of the location and the outside seating. There are 4 outdoor shaded tables on their outdoor patio outside of the main entrance. Chops and Hops has an extensive beer and wine list and many selections to choose from on their menu. Our attentive waitress made sure Mama Mia had a full water bowl. Their desserts ate killer as well. We will b back when we are in this area again!

Perfect Hideaway!
The Buzzard's RoostLoved visiting the Buzzards Roost. Great quiet location good service and great food! I had a Lobster Reuben that was tasty as were the crab cakes. We’ll be back!
