Great food

Visited this restaurant Oct 20, 2021. The patio was not open this time of years due to a problem with bees. There were people stung last week and they don’t want anyone sitting out there. This place is located on an app live orchard so bees are important to business so they can not kill the bees. I was able to order food to go. There is plenty of shady areas you could have a picnic at, being a blanket. We are in our car due to having Buddy with us. The food was wonderful. We had the chicken salad with fruit. It came with soup and apple fritters. All of it was delicious. It was busy even on a week day. There’s several other stores to go into there but we were in a hurry.

Great location

River Terrace Resort & Convention Center

I stayed at this location October 19, 2021until October 21,2021 with my senior dog and my senior mom. The Signature rooms have been remodeled with laminate wood floors, nice bedding , fresh paint and a nice gas light fireplace. We had a room with a balcony overlooking the shallow fast flowing river below. Comfy beds and pillows and crispy white bedding. The room was clean. Fridge and microwave and coffee maker. 2 sinks and mirrors. The pool was heated and several people were in it during this time of year. There are smallish grass areas here and there but they are mostly slanted. My elderly dog needs a flat area so we went to the large flat area by the office. At night, there is a mother bear with two kid bears that I saw visit the parking area, checking trash cans which are bear proof. The bears went into the neighboring parking garage. The staff said they are regulars and do not bother pets or people but to stay away and don’t approach them. They were no problem and I was excited to see them. There is a $100 pet fee. Pets shouldn’t be left in the room. Pick up after your pet. The restaurant is closed but there are other restaurants within walking distance.
