Miechele

Difficult to find and a few miles from the interstate but this park boasts a nice walking path as well as lots of acreage. Beautiful along the river though fenced to prevent river access. Has lots of places to sit throughout the property.

Pet friendly. They have potty bags by the back door and it's nice to not have to go through the front door so you can avoid all the winter salt. I will tell you though as a single woman I have had 2 incidents of people having violent fights at this hotel to the point that I have threatened to call the police myself as the front desk night staff refused to do anything about those incidents. One person mentioned they had a gun in their room etc. That makes me extremely uncomfortable. This is why I have a big dog and I would never stay at this hotel alone without my dog. It just seems like there is constant drama here when I stay during the night hours with the staff that lives and works here. However since this last time I threatened to call the police on my own since the desk was not cooperating, everyone has been relatively quiet 🙂

Sure it's smaller but I never thought I would find a dog park smack dab in the middle of Nashville. How awesome is that. Stopped on our way out and then wandered around the streets. The art is gorgeous. Small and large dog areas.
