I paid way too much for this hotel. Stains on the bed linens and floors, clumps of dog hair along the edges of the carpet. I was in the last room downstairs next to the back door which was not locked at night. could hear every thundering step above. felt really uncomfortable staying here. check in took forever, having to wait for 15 minutes while he processed a refund on the phone. Also there were no dog amenities provided, despite the description on here.

What a beautiful area! I will definitely be back. Driving thru CO on a road trip, booked a cabin here the day before. Pretty primitive cabin with AC but no extra amenities inside (no fridge or microwave). Shared bathrooms were clean and showers were hot and free. Really beautiful area. Great pool, dog park, and playground. Lots of people.

I took a cross country road trip with my dog, and this was the best place I stayed. Very pet friendly, great staff, comfy and clean room, decent free breakfast. I would definitely come back!

On a road trip, booked a cabin a few days in advance. Bring your own linens, but had everything we needed and was a great stay! Friendly staff who gave treats to my pup, nice little pet park, great pool, movie on a screen on the weekend, Friendly campers next to us. Awesome camp store/gift shop. The cabin had AC, a mini fridge and microwave, slept 4, very clean shared restrooms and showers. This was a great stop along the way!

everything we ate was delicious, plenty of open patio for the puppets with shade, water dish for thirsty dogs. I was just driving thru but would love to come back here if I am ever in Dee Moines again. so delicious!

stopped by here with my pup but ended up having to leave her in the car while i went in. Despite the description, there was no outdoor seating/ tables- except a bench out back in the parking lot. Baked goods were delish, decent ice cream, and house made dog biscuits. I got a dozen biscuits for my pooch and she is obsessed. She is currently in my hotel room staring lovingly at the white paper bag they came in. 5 star biscuits, wish there was outdoor seating.

stopped here for breakfast twice during my stay next door. Food was delicious, and had huge portions for the price. I felt bad for not finishing anything and having to throw away food. lots of open tables. gets really busy around 9:00 am, but before then- peace and quiet. Currently only serving at the window which was perfect for me and my pup.

My dog and I spent two nights here in November. I wanted a break from life and got it. This is a little past Kernville, so around a gorgeous 10 minute drive to grocery and restaurants. had a kitchenette so I was able to make myself some breakfast before heading out on a few nearby hikes. Had dinner in Kernville at some dog friendly places. Overall loved my stay and may come back. Only downside was that the walls are thin, so I could clearly hear my neighbor’s phone conversation, and the clog dancing rehearsal going on above me.
