Most unique Hampton Inn we have ever stayed in. We stayed in the Historic part of the Hampton Inn in Lexington, VA. The hotel staff treated Gunner well and the grounds of the hotel were expansive. No shortage of grass here for dogs and they had multiple waste stations also. Very nice stay!

Our visit started off on the wrong foot. When we checked in, the clerk told us the pet fee was $75, not $25 per pet per stay. To charge us the fee, the clerk said our credit card would be charged $50 per night (for a 2 night stay) to cover any incidentals and then we would get a credit of $25, leaving us with a net charge of $75 which would be for the pet fee. We were given no receipt and told we would have no recourse to recoup the $50 difference (thank goodness BringFido Customer Service is saying otherwise).
If you go to the websites for IHG (the owner) and Indigo Hotel_Winston-Salem, you will see 2 differing pet policies. Another problem is their premium bedding. They don't even use fitted sheets on their beds. They don't have much of a lobby, the whole floor is primarily their restaurant and bar. On the plus side, they have an ample supply of treats for your dog as you come in the lobby door, they keep two large containers of fruit-infused water and ice cold water by the elevators. The rooms were very quiet and the hotel was ideally located in downtown Winston.

Excellent place in downtown W-S! We ate breakfast there both mornings while we were in town. The food was excellent and varied. Prices were reasonable. Both wait staff that we had were dog lovers and were very attentive to the needs of our Weimaraner. They immediately gave him a water bowl and several treats as the breakfast went on. The biscuits and grits were awesome! Check them out when you are in W-S.

Our dog really enjoyed his stay as did we. The staff is very pet friendly. It would be nice to have more lighting and seating in the room.

We loved the spaciousness of the room and the location of the motel. The staff was very nice to our dog. There were a few minor issues with the room, but the staff quickly addressed and corrected them. Would stay here again.

The staff was very kind in their treatment of our pet. This Hampton Inn is in the heart of Virginia Beach and there are plenty of places to walk your dog. There is a large grassy area right outside the hotel where your pet can go to the bathroom.
Awesome breakfast served each morning. My wife, dog and I had breakfast in the screened-in gazebo each morning. The food was delicious. Highland House is in a great central location to walking around in Cape May. The house has great character. We would certainly stay there again.

The staff at Hotel 24 South was first class. They treated my Weimaraner (and my wife and me) very graciously. A small bag of treats for Gunner upon arrival and great interest in him as a canine. The hotel has great lodging and Staunton is a beautiful town to explore.
